This large five sided casket was painted on a Hunting theme by Galina Kapralova.
Each side shows a scene with a different hunt- hunt on Wood grouses, Ducks,Rabbits or Elk.
The casket is made out of paper-mache. Black lacquer covers the exterior and red lacquer covers the interior of the piece. Golden dot ornamentation frames all five compositions on all the sides. The box has a hinge from a top of the lid and rests on four legs. It is signed with the artist's name, village of Kholui and title.
